Nürburgring is a motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The track opened in 1927 and has since been used by the public for Touristenfahrten or “public driving”, allowing anyone with a road-legal vehicle, including tour buses, motorcycles, motor homes, and even cars with trailers on the track. It is opened mainly on Sundays, but also many Saturdays and weekday evenings. The track prohibits passing on the right, and few sections have speed limits.
